Service Designer, Researcher

I’ve spent 40 years making the world a better place.

That’s meant working with Government departments and businesses across Australia, the UK, the USA and Asia. I research, design and enhance services, experiences and processes. I’ve created tools and processes that integrate Customer Experience into organisations looking to pivot towards more agile and adaptive methodologies. I've run UX companies and delivered Service Design in both the UK and Australia. I have more than 30 years of experience in technology and design spaces, connecting people with services and the technology that provides them.

I'm passionate about great design, research and service delivery, but most passionate when it improves lives. I've focused very much on this over the past ten years, helping to improve the lives of Australians through improved health, mental health and disability services, delivered through vastly improved digital experiences and service channels.

I’ve worked with global brands like Amazon and IBM, Qantas and British Airways, startups, IoT and AI companies. I have personally facilitated thousands of interviews hundreds of groups and hundreds of projects.

Now, I provide world-class research on a simple, fixed-priced basis.

How it works

Step 1: We have a quick chat

  • Call me on 0415792055 - if I’m busy, leave a message with your name and number, I’ll call you back.

  • We discuss your requirements, timeframe, audience and needs.

  • Once this is reviewed I’ll produce a fixed-price quote in most cases (sometimes that won’t be possible due to unknown factors).

Step 2: We run the research

  • I Provide a full-service approach to research. This means we recruit the participants, pay incentives, book locations if required, facilitate sessions, organise for surveys or feedback channels and synthesise all data to produce your final report.

  • Progress meetings can be held as required.

  • We almost always use a recruitment model for research - we don’t use fixed panels.

Step 3: We present your findings

  • Once completed we’ll send you a final report and (unless it’s not required) present them to your team. Your data is yours and we’ll provide everything back to you (with the exception of participant data for privacy reasons).
